Meet The Team

   Dean Reeve (Manager/coach)

Hi I have been involved in sport and health for several years now and am currently studying for a degree in sport, exercise and coaching. I have been working as a swimming teacher at local sports centres and schools as well as being a qualified dodgeball coach and health style leader for the MEND programme for children aged  2-13 years old. I have a passion for getting all children involved in leading an active lifestyle. Active Friends was developed by my wife Claire and myself to provide an opportunity for children to get involved in sport and such like activities no matter what their ability or experience.

Hi, I have over 15 years experience working with children and have a B-TEC ND in childhood studies and a BSc (honours) Psychology. My past experience includes delivering the MEND programme for the NHS as well as working with a variety of ages in childcare. I have trained in adult and child safeguarding and adult and child CPR. Along with Dean I have helped develop Active Friends holiday club and played a big role in developing our policies and procedures. I very much enjoy seeing children learn through play and have fun in the process.
